This family history website contains a record of the family, relatives and descendants of Joseph Galdzinski. Joseph was born in Czortków, Galicia in 1888. He emigrated with his family to Canada in 1905 at 17 years of age and settled initially in British Columbia where he became a professional photographer. In 1914 Jooseph married Pauline Kondratiuk who had also emigrated from Galicia to Canada. Joseph and Pauline had four daughters, one of whom died in infancy.

The information here is based on the memories of family members who knew Joseph, Pauline and and her family supplemented by genealogical research. It is intended for those of their descendants who want to know more about their family origins. It is also, hopefully, for our more distant cousins who share our ancestry and might benefit from or add to our knowledge. We hope this site will be a starting point to which additional information about our family will be added as it becomes available.

No information on living family members is posted on this site.
